Henderson wants to wait for title shot

if you can't beat someone els at lhw in the meantime, you have ZERO chance against jbj

Mma4life84 -  Dan has a very impressive resume and is a great representative for the sport when it comes to showing heart, determination and pure grit. However much he deserves a shot at the title (which he will undoubtedly get), in my humble opinion he's avoiding a fight with nog because of previous outcomes with both brothers. I don't blame him as he has (just like many of you mentioned) earned the right many times over to wait it out and choose his fights. This will give give him the time and preparation to train for a five round fight and really work on extending his gas tank so he doesn't exhaust himself like he did against rua. Phone Post
I seriously doubt he would avoid a fight with someone becuse he lost to them previously.  If that were the case he wouldnt have lobbied so hard for another shot at Silva.  I think it's just not a compelling match up and little nog doesnt generate much interest and since he gets a cut of the PPV it's just smart business.  Little nog hasnt looked good in the uFC at all either, hell Tito was boxing him up until he got taken down.

Little Nog hasn't looked very good in the UFC, but I think you need to watch his fight with Tito once more. Tito was battered on the feet, dropped, and then pounded out on the ground.

Jon Jones kills Rashad in April, gets the Dan Henderson fight for the big July PPV?

machida, machida, machida

I'd LOVE to see Machida vs. Henderson but the problem is I'd hate to see either guy lose.

Ive seen it a few times.....Tito was doing very well until it hit the ground......lil nog hasnt l.ooked good since Pride.

I would too if I looked like that against Shogun....

Smart man Mr. Henderson is.

Dan is a worthy contender no doubt, but if he's not an active fighter then what kind of champion would he be?
Henderson vs Noguiera would be a great fight and he should take it.

if he has the ability to tell the UFC that he wont fight unless its for the title, obviously he should do that. that is fuckin baller

I wonder if by some miracle Dan wins the title, will Anderson move up and take the belt from him?

TKOhYeah - Dan hasn't got many fights left, might regret it if the Jones Rasahd winner picks up an injury!

I'd love to see Hendo vs Machida in the meantime.

Hendo VA machida male it happen Phone Post

Tito landed a few shots and was looking alright against Nog for about 90 seconds, and then he got rocked with a big left hand, he was swarmed against the cage, dropped with a knee, and then ate ground and pound until he was done. Getting rocked and dropped that soon into the fight doesn't show me that he was having much success on the feet.
