Great gif. VU. Who, other than the great Hendo, could at 43 years old at the time, take a beating for 2+ rounds from the legend Shogun Rua and still finish him in epic fashion with one punch, hitting him so hard Rua did a backwards somersault?
Hendo is the only person on the planet to defeat the awesome Shogun Rua TWICE - who was both a great UFC AND Pride champ.
I've added a couple of pictures that were taken after their fights. The two were good friends long before they fought from knowing each other back in their Pride days, and continue to be friends to this day. From the gif you can see Hendo stopped hitting Shogun at the end, and waited for Herb Dean to stop it. They both said fighting each other brought the absolute best out of themselves.
