Here's when Conor's leg really broke

According to John Kavanagh, it happened when Conor threw a teep kick. Justin shelled and Conor’s shin hit the elbow.

Like john said, it wasn’t a teep… It was a gay flicky tkd beginner kick…

Talks about it around 2:18 mark

Ironically, it looks similar to the kick he threw at the stare down.

Keep in mind this is still speculation. But I think the major takeaway is that it couldn’t have just broke off that punch sequence alone. The footage clearly shows it’s already wobbly as he throws the punch before he lands back on that foot so it most likely had to be comprised previosuly…whether by a kick or kicks in that fight and by the so-called previous injury.

Which begs the question - if it was already injured, was it wise to be leg kicking that hard? Just like it wasn’t wise to jump to that guillotine…

I’ve done that a few times and it fucking hurts. Props to Conor for not showing any pain on contact.

It got wonky due to previous damage from
a dustin checking early
b conor axe kicking the ground at 200%
c dustin elbow checking him right there

I lean elbow check

Just based on the angle of the contact with Dustin’s elbow it has to be the teep kick.

I wish I could find a video of the full fight to watch it again. I’d be interested in knowing which of the two kicks in question came first. If the one blocked with the elbow came first, it would make sense that was when it actually broke, then the kick to the leg that Conor landed with the front of the foot was when Dustin felt it give and pointed at it.

the one that dustin pointed on was early

something did occur there, hard to know how bad the damage

The teep kick shown shown in the video and the video thumbnail was right before his leg gave out

So like someone said in another thread where I posted the video, the leg kick probably compromised it then the elbow check finished it off. That makes sense too.

Daily motion has the fight uploaded there. DY3 posted it earlier.

Nice.so Kavanaugh is saying Dustin directly broke Conor’s tibia?!

Tko fosho then. doctor stoppage should be rescinded since Dustin effectively broke Conor’s bone using technique

Regardless of where it happened, it was caused by Dustin parrying/checking a strike.

That’s a TKO win for Dustin under any scenario it could be.

A doctor stoppage is a TKO

Lollll

So the guillotine was drilled and he didn’t throw the kick properly.

If he wants to come back it’s time for a different camp.

How the hell do you think it’s a good idea for a 1 trick pony to go for something he sucks at?

Seems more than plausible

it’s either because of their ego or they’re just DUMB. Probably both tho.

Nothing happened with that early kick.

If it did it had nothing to do with his shin.

He kicked numerous times hard with that leg after that.

The one with the elbow happened with 10 seconds left in the round. Has to be when it happened.
