Anderson's camp is scared of the threat Weidman poses... a superior wrestler with excellent jiu jitsu... whether people want to admit it or not, Weidman's style matches up well with Anderson.

Weidman or Boetsch are the two most "deserving" MWs in line. They both are FAR from being the biggest DRAW, which as much as we don't like it, is a factor for Zuffa in making decisions.

Just sayin it can be argued either way. Just my opinion. Heard all the hype before from every fighter who campaigned for the belt "I have the tools to take AS out", "this fighter stands the best chance ever", so on and so forth, and look what happened to all those guys. IF Weidman gets the fight and loses it could be a career ruiner. one more win would against a top ranked opponent would solidify it is all I'm saying. Right now all it is is a hype campaign for Weidman. He called AS out made a few comments to try and bid for a Championship title fight.

Silva hasn't got many fights left he's trying to get paid it doesn't make since to take on everyone who pops up from nowhere when he can focus on dropping weight or gaining for a big payday he will probably fight him just not now.

Why do you limit it to in the UFC? He was widely considered top 3 in the world if not the actual best middleweight. Weidman has nowhere near the accomplishments that Anderson did going into his title shot.

"IF" this and that means nothing. You are talking about fucking WRESTLING. Big fucking deal he won some "matches"...and you have no clue what would have happened in an actual fight based off of a wrestlign match.
Weidman is not a draw at all, his biggest fight was on Fuel with barely over 200K viewers...Let him be known to the casual fans first. Anderson will murk GSP in the mean time, and then beat Weidman when people actually know who he is.

He's losing money if he does not fight for so long. Specifically the money from the fight he did not take (whatever that is) being it is not affecting the fight 7-10 months out. 7 to ten months would mean less than 2 rounds fought this year.
If money does NOT matter again he needs to fight Weidman.
