"Hes Turned Me Down Six Times" - Gaethje

I ran into Gaethje at the gas station in like January. I asked him when he was going to fight Conor and get that huge pay day and he said “that pussy won’t fight anyone.” I totally get why he wouldn’t take this fight. Conor will talk a bunch of shit and build it up and then pop hot on a test or just not actually fight when Justin could go for the title. Conor doesn’t deserve Justin. His last win was pre-COVID vs and end of career Cerrone in the middle of a 6-loss skid. His last real win was Alvarez in 2016. Conor by the numbers should be a nobody by now.

Hell yeah I would. You could argue that Justin/Conor made sense two fights ago for Justin, but not now. Not close.

Justin screwed up at the press conference. He handled the question all wrong

He didn’t say enough to actually get under Conor’s skin. When asked about Conor and that fight he should have said “Conor should be begging to fight me. I’m the BMF champ and I’m the big money fight now not him. If he wants to fight me he has to beat Chandler first”

Something like that would have ate away at Conor’s thin Irish skin

Justin could beat Conor with about twice the effort it took Khabib to beat Conor.

So Justin could beat Conor very very easily.

You used way too many words to just simply say Justin would brutally beat down Conor

thats cool and all…but prime conor aint been around for 6 years so its kinda irrelevant to say now since Conor is calling for the fight now. Also lets not pretend that Conor was a world beater at any weight above 145.

Conor just needs to get reality check from time to time

After going back and watching his previous fights with DP, I think he still has a high chance to finish Justin. All he has to do is defend the leg kick, which would be easier for him fighting a orthodox opponent. He picks apart orthodox fighters from the get go. Also, with Justin’s blitz and brawl style; conor’s distance control and timing gives him a promising edge. His striking will be significantly more effective when compared to DP because he mixes in both body, and head kicks which will keep Justin questioning. Sure, DP’s boxing is slightly better but Conor is still slick. Not to mention, Justin is a smaller lightweight.
