If you don't want the ref to stop the fight.
lol
question, does anyone have the actual rule on what is considered tapping out(from the rule book?)... does one tap then stopping qualify?
2 taps is a general guideline, so a random hand motion doesn't end a fight prematurely like this.
So one tap now means you want out?
its not "a random hand motion" when you do it while a guy's breaking your arm

Letting go of your armbar defense and tapping your opponent's leg is a "random hand motion"?
He didn't tap, he was just bored and drumming allong to the music in his head.

Matt Riddle is that you?
Its like guys bitching about a flash KO stoppage. The solution is simple....don't get knocked down and have your eyes roll back into your head. Yes, that also applies to my good friend Paul Buentello.
He didn't tap, he saw a mosquito on Amir's leg, and wanted to swat it before it bit him.
He did tap twice, second was very weak, but there was a second tap.....easier to see from the long shot.
(a) The following are the types of bout results:
1. Submission by:
i. Tap Out:When a contestant physically uses his hand to indicate that he or she no longer wishes to continue; or
ii. Verbal tap out:When a contestant verbally announces to the referee that he or she does not wish to continue;
the above mentions absolutely nothing about the number of taps required
Why the fuck dont you understand the do-over Goldenboy!?! Its the 2008 rope escape! Everyone knows this.
"Nobody likes a loser." Curls Lip
LOL, Skill. The GB says that CB says that CB didn't tap.
The best part was CB Radio's face after Herb Dean stopped the fight. He seemed genuinely shocked.
That armbar looked tight. IIRC Paul didn't argue about his ko to arlovski he was the only one that admitted he was out right after the fight ended.
yes
In a post fight interview he admitted to tapping.
