Fabio Holanda competed in the 2005 Concordia Invitational Wrestling Tournament on Sunday Oct. 30, and finished 3rd in his weight class.
Fighting in the 76 kilo division Fabio had 5 matches, losing only one, on the way to his 3rd place finish.
Fabio wrestles for the Montreal Wrestling Club when competing in these tournaments.

I had the pleasure of meeting Holanda at the tournament. I was very impressed at how humble and generally nice he was. Congrats.
I saw all his matches but the last one, he looked very good even in the one match he lost.I heard he did very well in his bronze medal match too.

Canario's biggest pet peeve in MMA is announcers over-using the phrase, "world class wrestler."
Off the top of my head, I can only name several world class wrestlers that have ever attained MMA success:
Coleman, Randleman (even though he quit after college, he would have medaled internationally), Couture, Lindland, Heath, Henderson
Then I guess you have Shultz, Jackson, Gardner
