Holly Holm was just ninety-seconds away from defending her bantamweight title before being submitted by Miesha Tate at UFC 196. Holm discussed the emotions of the loss shortly after the fight with Ariel Helwani.

Me too. I was emotional after the fight. My emotions were for Tate who I haven't liked in past but I know her history. Tate wanted that belt so bad. Tate came and left with gold. Very inspiring.
Then I saw Hollys face and I felt way different. As Holly says she is not in there for money or fame.
Great fight, and this one really told the tale of our sport.
