How is it racist? I grew up on 50th and ames, went to omaha northwest high school, work security at the local mall, and i dont have a right to voice my opinion. It has nothing to do with being racist, gang violence is an issue here, amongst blacks and whites, the thought that there is few black people here is ignorant

Houston is actually one of my favorite local fighters, I don't believe the crime rate is attributed to blacks. Forgive me that the highest point of Crime is in a 85% African American populated area which i grew up in. Its the people in the area, doesnt matter what color they are. The statistic doesnt make me a racist. I don't get why political correctness is such a sore subject on everyone's mind these days. Get a life bro. And yes working security at a mall at the age of 19, is a ridiculous occupation.

So if there is a direct corralation between population make up and crime rate is it racist to bring it up, or is it statistics that are racist? I'm not agreeing with either of you, and yes his original post did sound a tad racist, but statistics do oddly tend to fall a certain way. Is math racist too?
