I still wish they would just run the PPV part like Amazon or Vudu. Once you buy the movie/PPV it's in your digital storage to watch at any time. That's more than fair for the customer and business. 
Steal it then tweet DFW multiple times a day about how you stole it because you feel the current PPV system is flawed.
You'll notice by this posts 800 vote ups that this is the way to go.

I just record them on direct tv and watch them whenever. Is it supposed to let me do that? 
I've never had dish but I'm sure it's the same as a DVR on cable. I guess the answer is yes you can it's not illegal.
