How about the UFC allow those who have fight pass, PLUS buy the PPV's, to be able to rewatch their purchase forever. I think it's bullshit that right now if I want to watch machida vs Weidman it costs 12.00 or steal it. Same now with 178, if I want to watch tonight after work, I'll have to steal or pay another 60 $, thats not fair at all. I have sent 2-3 emails about this to ufc and I never get reply. I'm a new fan for just over a year and I'm hooked but come on UFC stop nickel and diming us to death. Any answer would be helpful.
DVR??
Having a permanent digital copy of the PPV you just purchased would be a massive incentive for people to buy it.
Crazy that it hasn't been done.
I suppose I could buy it on cable, but I've always just used the computer or my ROKU to watch UFC events. I like that idea that you should own a digital copy with the purchase of PPV. I just wondered if anyone else noticed this or had an answer to this I was missing. Thanks
So I'm guessing by the 250 vote ups the answer is the DVR ? I knew that, but I am close to cutting cable off and ditching that huge bill every month. If I was to start buying the PPVs off cable does it connect to your UFC.TV account ? I can't be the only FIGHT FAN who likes to re watch fights more than once the first week it happens. It's just hard to believe that after spending $ on FP, and then PPV, that you can't watch after 24hours or you have to steal it. It's like they are forcing people to piracy even after paying for the product. Thanks for any answers.... James

The 250 VU's aren't for that answer alone. He was probably voted up multiple times in other threads. That's just the total VU's he's received. But ya, it would be really awesome to have access to any event anytime. I would definitely fork out my money for that!
Can you buy PPVs off Fight pass? Let's say UFC 181 is on and I don't have cable. Can I buy it from fight pass?
time traveling 12er - They have agreements that dictate when events become available. They had to get permission from the PPV provider just to re-air Jones v Gustaffson on Fox. For the Fox shows it's similar, Fox paid for the shows so there's a limit to how soon they can allow fight pass people to get it.That's not bad if happily pay more every month if it included the PPV's. I get not showing the fox cards but the PPV's ? You don't even need cable to purchase those except for the Internet connection. Thanks for the reply
I think what they should really do is have every purchase of a ppv come with a month of fightpass.

You're welcome. And WELCOME TO THE UG!
WOW didn't realize the you couldn't watch old PPV on FP. That's BS.
That's why they try to sell u a dvd
Dogman - WOW didn't realize the you couldn't watch old PPV on FP. That's BS.
You can watch old PPV's on FP. There is just an amount of time before the UFC can put it on there.
Basically how PPV works is the UFC partners with the provider. They essentially don't own the rights until the agreement has ended which is a few months.
Right now you can watch UFC 174 so they are basically 3 events behind.
Be patient, these things will happen in time. The UFC is in the middle of three distribution business models right now. Sitting up, they will figure out how to simplify while maximizing profits/impressions.

They have come a long way in a short amount of time. It wasn't long ago we were complaining about cards that happened maybe once a month that and then we would have to purchase DVD's after the event just to see the prelims.
We still have to pay for a PPV every month like we always have but now we get three free events in between. I guess you could say we have to pay for fight pass as well but even at that we are getting on average like 48 fights a month when we used to get 5 or 6. For ten to twenty dollars more then we used to get per month I think they are doing good by us.
why not offer a premium service all ufc events for a decent deal
its easy to get free weeks on fight pass....so im told
rockafella -Thanks... that explains it all appreciate that.Dogman - WOW didn't realize the you couldn't watch old PPV on FP. That's BS.
