Do you live in the United States? I dont know where you get the idea that an American cop would go to jail for something like that but you couldnt be more wrong. American cops have to go WAY over the line to be prosecuted for brutality. Especially when they are assaulted. The woman in that video got off easy. If someone slaps an American cop, they arent going to get slapped back. They will maced or tazed, possibly hit with a stick, slammed to the ground, and arrested. It doesnt matter if you are "some uppity American bitch", you hit a cop and you are going down hard. It is not only justified but accepted. Having it all on video would just make it very easy for the cop to justify his actions.

^^^ The voice of reason and truth! I said almost the same thing in an argument about guys hitting girls (after they had been hit first) that I was having with my g/f of all people. My point was that if they knew there were consequences they would not slap or hit guys in the first place. She kept saying "so you think it's ok to hit a girl?" to which my response was "no I don't think it's ok to hit anyone!"
