How do you throw a knee strike with the front leg

...WITHOUT switching stances first?

This knee strike is the one thats a bit like an uppercut, ie you would only use it if your opponent was bent over in front of you ie he was bending fowards at the waist then you would deliver this to his face.

Basically I raise my knee up and then try to thrust my hip into the upwards knee strike but I cant do it.

It still feels weak and no snap! :(

Ive done it by accident and got snap but I dont know how I did it. At the moment I lift my knee up which is slow as hell then I try to thrust my hips up and it still feels slow and weak as hell.

Please help me get how to do this or give me a link to a vid or instructions on this specific UPWARDS knee strike (not thrusting forwards and not round knees)

Hmmm. Does such a technique exist?

Its not favoured since theres plenty more power if you swtitch stances first but I see Alexey Ignashove KOing people with them alot in his HL.

remember, this is a close range technique, typically used when you're already clinched:

Lift the lead knee to the height of the target.
Do a sharp thrust forwards with the hips.
You can "hop" forwards on your support foot for extra power (if there's room)
