I mean, we already knew Roy has a great chin, but look at that punch by Lewis late in the fight....that's the biggest punch of all time, and it lands flush. I mean huge dude, big power, FULL ON swing, and it lands flush, and Roy doesn't even budge. I thought that was nuts.
I think the right decision was made, I'll take Lewis' few flurries and significant damage over some lay n pray/wall n stall by Roy in round 3. I had 29-28 Lewis. Good for Lewis.
But then he goes and gives one of the worst post-fight interviews ever. lol, he sure didn't do himself any favors there. Though I did think it was cool he said he wants to rematch Roy, even though he won.
Possibly the best of all time. That last punch is about as big of a punch gets and it couldn't have landed in a better spot. If that couldn't do it nothing could have. I know hunt did it and he's gotta get credit for that cuz I've never seen someone be able to just take giant heavyweight shots right on the chin and just keep on going. I know there's some other guys that have taken bombs like this but not heavyweights and not against Derrick lewis. And then he was fine at the end of the fight. Those punches woulda finished any other man. Mark hunt would be his only competition.

Marks punching power is legendary and his chin is top notch but we've seen him knocked out a few times. I think the Nelson/Hunt fight was like finding the right key for a lock with a belly.

Nelson started off as a grappler before becoming a sloppy brawler, and Hunt started off letting people have free shots on him in K1. The amount of miles and against the total amount of seriously heavy hitters isnt comparable.
I would say Nelson's chin is better now, overall at their peak, Hunt's was off the chart.

Fujita and maybe Cabbage could have ate it as well.
