I see a lot of criticism of Fabricio Werdum on here or saying he sucks because he lost to Dos Santos or Arlovski. So if he sucks for losing to Dos Santos, then this must mean Dos Santos is not a very good fighter either. Since Arlovski beat Rothwell and Nelson, they must not be very good since Arlovski was one of the "not very good" fighters who beat Werdum. Does them being in the UFC change that?
If you say Werdum sucks, then you are saying Gabriel Gonzaga sucks and that Shane Carwin halfway sucks since Gonzaga (not very good according to Werdum haters since Werdum beat him 2X) rocked Shane standing. Frank Mir a credibile win? Well, it seems that Brandon Vera destroyed Frank Mir and that Werdum beat Vera.
What this essentially comes down to, is that Werdum haters are secretly anti-UG and secretly hate Shane Carwin and think that all his top wins are without credibility. Werdum haters = cleverly disguised Strikeforce paid-posters who while appearing on the surface of not promoting Werdum....are actually subconsciously influencing fans everywhere against Shane Carwin!!! The trickery....the ourage.....SAY IT AIN'T SO.....SAY IT AIN'T SO!!!!!!!

Funny, he slipped my mind altogether in this post. He just literally did not enter my mind....WHATSOEVER...
It's amazing that the only win that got Cain so highly ranked was by beating Nogueira who was battle worn. Not only that, but Carwin's highly ranked win over Mir is thanks to a non-top 10 Frank Mir beat Big Nog to get the high ranking. It seems like Big Nog (Fedor beat him 2X while he was in his prime and Fedor was not even in his prime yet)is what has gotten Cain Velasquez, Frank Mir, and not directly, but partially Shane Carwin their high rankings. Cro Cop is what gave Gonzaga his top 10 ranking that lasted him almost 2 years. People try as they like to discredit Fedor, but at least Fedor has been continuing to build his name of fighters like Sylvia, Arlovski, and Rogers when they are fresher. Fedor beats 'em fresher and UFC Heavyweights get the left overs. Sorry 'Handy, even a nearly well-done Nog was too mcuh for you! Better luck next time!
Werdum is a great fighter. Other than the KO loss to Dos Santos (where he came in terrible shape, and you can't do that with a badass like Junior) his only losses are to top-10 ranked fighters and they were all by decision.
Meanwhile he has wins over Overeem, Zentsov, Vera, Braga, Aleks, and two wins over Gonzaga, and whatever you think about Gonzaga now, he was whooping fools back when Werdum beat him.
I keep waiting for someone to test his ground game. But he keeps knocking people out too fast.
Cain and JDS are the 2 best HW's in the UFC imo.
I think both would be a real test for Fedor.
As for Werdum, compare how he looked going into the JDS fight and how he looks going into the Fedor fight.
He obviously made a bad mistake in underestimating JDS.

If Affliction was able to put together that show with Couture vs Fedor I think Fedor would have wrecked his shit something terrible. I feel like Fedor is rolling the dice at this point anytime he faces a giant like Lesnar or Overeem, but a smaller HW like Randy he would cakewalk over.
Still have to give Fedor the #1 spot. Undefeated 31-0 > 4-1.
