Reading the article about Shooto on Sherdog and seeing they only look to profit $24,000 a year, I was just wondering - How much does Shooto pay it's fighters? It doesn't seem like they bring in any money really at all and I was just curious.
I know we have some Shooto vets on the forum, can anyone shed some light on this?

Someone posted in the other thread that often jmma promotions keep their profits in cash in order to avoid taxes? I don't know enough about it to speak with authority but if that's the case, the $24,000 number may appear more misleading than correct.
