It seems to me that their profits from 2012 must have been down by 25% or more judging by all these cuts. Any reports from Meltzer or anyone credible about PPVs and attendance in 2012 vs 2011. I know that they're a private company, but I'm curious as to how much overall revenue was down.

Personally I think that as rude as it may seem, that the UFC is doing some type of spring cleaning. They just folded Strikeforce into the UFC as well as WEC pretty recently, They have a massive amount of fighters employed and need to clean out a bit to keep things goin smooth.

I think they want to keep expanding but SF coming over combined with a drop of ppv revenue why these massive cuts are happening. In my opinion, they need to think twice about who they want on their roster and how their cuts reflect upon the UFC.
