Every time Vera loses he says his next opponent is in big trouble or something to that effect. The truth is he never seems to improve and has the worst killer instinct of anyone I can think of. It's hard watching him because he never brings it, he just coasts. He has a lot of talent and is a good martial artist, but is frustrating as hell to watch.

I think Vera takes it. Stylistically it is good for Vera.
Thiago is most dangerous from top position, but Vera is very tough to take down.
Standing, Thiago has been out struck and dropped in many of his fights. He is a powerful and quick striker, but I believe Vera is more technical.
