I’m getting old & my golden era of MMA is gone & will never ever be even close to as good again. I hate it but accept it. Like the NBA or movies & tv. Partly that I’m old & mostly that it’s just shittier now.

I am also old and have been watching MMA since UFC 1. I think this is your attitude in effect. I took years off boxing when I saw Winky Wright ripped off for like the 5th time. I think I felt the same way you did for a few years. Boxing still has legitimacy issues that make it challenging, but I’ve seen all the greats in MMA come and go, and still appreciate it. I can’t say I can relate to this in MMA. I can’t wait to see which of these 30 yo will stick around the longest, and which of these young hype sensations will rise to the top, and be here in 10 years.

Yea, I can’t even watch the NFL anymore with all the bullshit penalties. It’s pretty obvious the refs control the game.
