I think I set a record tonight....

Tonight, I honestly think I set some kind of new record....

I promoted a "MuayThai Day" smoker in Sterling, VA

....I helped coach 1/2 the MuayThai partipants in preparation for this event.

....I was the Emcee for most of the MuayThai event

....I was also the referee during 4 of the 6 bouts

....and then I fought in the final MuayThai match of the evening! (an exhibition)

Now I'm drinking to dull some of the pain, LOL

TSHIRTS ARE STILL AVAILABLE!!!!

I want one!

How much??

Congrats on the show. Reminds me of that Bugs Bunny cartoon when he takes on the Gashouse Gorillas. Now playing first base - Bugs Bunny; shortstop - Bugs Bunny; pitcher - Bugs Bunny. LOL.

Hook it up!

KK of all trades! : )

Aside form some minor technical glitches (none of which KK had any control over) the show was great. The Thai fights were all entertaining and evenly matched. Can't necessarily say that for all the MMA matches, but there were some really good ones.

Thanks, guys! Even though I was running around like a madman throughout the entire event, doing everything in my power to be sure everything was running smoothly, I had a real enjoyable time. It was a BLAST and I can't wait to do it again....

....though I think I'll skip the fighting next time, LOL

Tidbits is right! Almost all the matches were even! Scott Howard & I really take pains to be sure that the matches are even, that we're not doing anyone any favors (even our own guys!). We don't want anyone using our events to "pad" their records. The occassional mismatch will always occur, but thats always the case when dealing with novice fighters.

Apart from the delays, the event ended up running very smoothly and I'm confident that everyone really enjoyed the show and got their money's worth.

I gotta thank "Tidbits", Mike, and Kevin for being judges yesterday. Thanks to Sam for timekeeping. And thanks to Josh for running my merchandise table. (I'm embarrassed to have forgotten the name of the other guy who was helping him)

PS- Tshirts are $20 +shipping. I'll accept cash, checks, or money orders. However, I'll have to verify the shipping charge, but I think its only going to be $5

do you take pay pal?

Khun Kao has the "Hands on Hips" pose down pat!

He was also nice enough to teach it to one of the fighters.

lkfmdc....

I don't have a paypal account. I'm leary of paypal because of the problems they had a few years back... But I guess its starting to get about time for me to get with the times.

Ryukyu....

You bastid! That just made me LOL and it hurts my chest! Matt Lyons caught me real good with that one knee (I helped by walking into it) and I'm really feeling it today.

congrats Brooks. I am real happy to see how well this came off.

thanks, Mark! didja notice that really cool tshirt I'm sporting?

notice!? I couldn't stop staring at it.

When I chose the color scheme, I was totally sleeping on the fact that it was St. Patrick's Day. I'm thinking that if I had made the shirts green and had some kind of St. Patrick's Day motiff to go alongside the MuayThai design, it would have sold better.

For some reason, they weren't really selling at the show, but I'm getting inquiries for shirts after the fact. No biggie. As long as I am able to sell them eventually, I'll be happy!

ahh, yes. how could we have forgotten St. Patty's? what kind of 1/8 Irishman am I?

Great place for an orthodontist's ad.

Tshirts are $20 + $5 shipping.....
