I think Tim Bradley beats Manny Pacquiao on June 9

When this fight was announced my initial reaction was that this was a very risky fight for Manny to take, Bradley is an unbeaten in his prime young fighter who is not a proven box office draw and an unknown to the casual boxing public.  This isn't 38 yr old JM Marquez (who I thought beat Manny last time out), 39 yr old Mosley, or a well past his prime Antonio Margarito...Manny is taking on a young lion for the first time in a while.  I still don't really see the upside here for Pac...he's taking his toughest fight in years against someone with zero name recognition.

Bradley isn't a huge puncher, but he comes forward (leads with his head quite a bit which causes problems in his fights cutting opponents with headbutts) and is moderately exciting to watch.  Manny has been more hittable in his recent outings (Marquez fight and even though he beat the piss out of Margarito, Margs was able to land some big shots in the fight) and I've taken the leap from this being a tough fight for Manny to my opinion now that Manny Pacquiao is going to take his first loss in many years in 2.5 weeks.  I see Bradley making it his kind of fight which can get a little ugly on the inside and winning something around 116-112.

Anyone else think Bradley wins?  Speak now or forever hold your peace...or speak now and get mocked with me on 6/9 if Manny wipes him out quick.  I think the big PPV fight people are talking about after this fight is Pac/Bradley 2 rather than Pac/Mayweather.

I'm pulling for him.

fan of Bradley's, but he won't win

Fuck yeah bradley wins!

Future goat

He is like the Marciano of the 2010s Phone Post

Tough fight, would be terrible for boxing is Manny loses.

You know its gonna happen eventually and they are all, ALL of them are gonna regret not making the Floyd/Manny fight when they had the chance.

Honestly if Manny loses and doesnt look good he probably has another fight, if the Tim fight is close maybe a rematch, maybe JMM fight but if he loses this fight its likely he wont be fighting much longer. He probably wont have many fights left as it is and Floyd is also getting old, they are really fucking up not making Floyd/Manny.

LOL if Bob Arum breaks me off a little PPV revenue I'll come up with something better.  Bradley isn't all action like Pac is, but he's not boring either.  I'm having people over and buying the PPV and think I'll be satisfied with my purchase when the night is over.

Pacman has slowed down lately I wouldn't be surprised.

I want Bradley to win!

however the next big thing in boxing is Canelo, cant wait for him to destroy floyd, thats even if floyd takes that fight.

De La Hoya said he wasn't ready for Floyd.

Canelo is a lot of fun to watch but he's so damn open defensively, Floyd would eat him alive.  I think Cinco de Mayo next year may be Mayweather/Canelo

bluey?

I like this poster for the fight...Bradley's nickname is "Desert Storm".

It's a fight, anything can happen, if you fight enough eventually you will suffer defeat. Is it Manny's time to lose ?? Bradley is talented but he hasn't faced someone like Pac Man and I doubt that Manny will have any trouble with anything Bradley brings into the ring. If Manny loses it will be because it's time to hang the gloves up not because Bradley is a better boxer because he's not. The way I see it Bradley leaves himself open to much while exchanging, with someone like Manny who's really good on the inside and constantly punching it spells disaster for Bradley. I say Pac Man will still be considered the best P4P fighter after this fight is over. Phone Post

Tim Bradley is tough as nails, and IMO this is a risky fight for Pacman to take.

the public was not going to accept another clottey type. and arum can still control the winner so it's a no lose fight for arum. bradley win and he can package up a rematch and claim pac had an off night. bradley win again and you match him up with khan. arum can milk this into next year and make plenty of money and not have to deal with floyd and oscar (his ultimate goal)

that's the problem Johnny, Manny isn't good on the inside, he needs angles to set up his offense...he gets sloppy when flustered...Tim can make it ugly on the inside and offset Manny's rhythum...that's what JMM was doing, kept turning him and making him a one handed fighter...
