That’s honestly the best stick to the gameplan performance I’ve ever seen.  A heavy handed brawler with composure and high output offense against a guy that could clip you at any point in 25 minutes no matter how hurt.  Â

Isn’t that how Tony always fights. Justin was just sharper but just as mean, had the cardio and discipline, didn’t go nuts when he had Tony hurt. Tony usually breaks guys by r3 but he had no answer for Justin period.

I cant say Ive seen many of Tony’s fights but if something works for you, most people will continue to do it.

I actually thought Tony needed to get it to the midway point of the third round and get Justin tired and that Justin would be very dangerous until that happened. Little did I know that Justin wasn’t going to tire. Ferguson took a brutal beating.

you could see in rounds 1/2 (maybe 3? I can’t remember) that Justin kept landing on tony so he wanted to throw harder. Like “oh I’m landing flush every time, maybe if I hit him just a little harder he’ll go out.” Basically he was head hunting. But his corner reigned him in and said no stick to the game plan, land clean shots, stop trying to take his head off.
