Curious to how The UGers see this potential matchup...
Spitbucket is the bigger fighter, the more experienced, has great TD defence, and is impossible to hold down. His striking, while technically sound, fails in the power department, but would still allow him to control the standup if Weidman chooses to engage on the feet.

Gotta agree with this. 
Bisping surprised the hell out of all of us against sonnen, I think outside the top 3-4 in the division he win against anybody. I want to see him either rematch wandy or go against paul harris...the latter making for a very unique match up

Dude, if Bisping and Paul Harris fight I have no clue what will happen, whatever it is though will be definitive I think. Besides, it will show if Paul has the stand-up to hang with the best at MW.

On bisping Weidman, I think Weidman has some of the best body lock takedowns in the UFC let alone the division, Chael took bisping down with an inside trip from the body lock. Weidman would take bisping down but I'm just not sure if he could keep him there. Close fight, either a Weidman grind or a bisping tko from pace. No definitive result IMO
It would def be Weidmans toughest bout to date...I think Mike is too polished 4 him at this point but Chris is evolving fast. im sure we will see this fight happen sooner rather than later..
Weidman will be in a elimination bout this year IMO.
He has the tools to beat Bisping, just think hes a couple fights away in being able to do it.
Chris will be a major force in the div shortly.
The Bisping that fought Chael would dominate the Weidman that fought Maia. if Weidman came to the fight on form who knows? i'd still slightly favour Bisping though.
If Weidman would have had a full training camp than he would have put up a much better performance against Maia. Weidman takes this no doubt about it.
I think Weidman still wins by UD!! he didn't have enough time to prepare himself properly for Maia!the guy is less experience and need more fights but I'm sure he'll be a MW champion one day!
Like everyone else here I can't stand Bisping but I feel he wins. Striking is waaaay better then weidman's and Chael had a hard time holding him down so I don't think a lesser wrestler would be able to do so

I think right now Bisping beats Weidman.
In a year or 2 I think Weidman will be running over almost everyone in the division including Bisping!
