Usually like 5 seconds. It has to be pretty blatant though.

Kevin Garnett drops so many F bombs that they mute the mics near the basket if there is a stoppage of play and he is around.

The Baltimore Ravens fans started yelling "Bullshit!" in unison really loudly for a good 40-50 seconds on Sunday Night Football and they didn't mute fast enough. You hear cussing every Sunday on FOX during NFL games. Nothing would happen unless it was sucker punching or a post fight brawl. Phone Post
