Hughes won't lose the rematch to Penn. But even if he did, there would still be at least two options. He could move up in weight. Hughes has said in the past that he wouldn't fight Rich Franklin, but if Franklin loses to Anderson Silva, Hughes might be interested in fighting for the title. Or Hughes could keep fighting at 170 and wait for GSP to beat Penn again.
Either way, Hughes would have options.
