A few good posters came in here and leveled me right up. They explained it intelligently and clearly. I was wrong Paul harris has a history and did it again. While I am not sure its out of him being a asshole or wanting to hurt anyone I do agree punishment needs to be allocated. The whole DHK thing was pretty stupid, after talking it over I come around pretty fast when im being a dumbass.
I just tried to latch on to something that wasn't there. I hope the UFC makes some clear rules/statements of what they will cut fighters for. I just want a hard list of stuff (eg: eye pokes, nut shots, fake tapping, dirty play, greasing ETC.) I just want consistency.
I am a dumbass and I learned the err in my ways.

The ref jumped in to stop it and he cranked it even harder. Go back, watch the tapes or re-read the brail play by play and hopefully it can be understood.
He definitely held it too long. I never said anything about that. I just didn't think he needed to be banned. Im an idiot but I still don't think he should be banned thats all.

This is at least the 4th time he has done this. With a guy as powerful and as good at getting guys in heel hooks, its only a matter of time before someone gets seriously injured.

That says a lot about him imo. We all make mistakes, admitting them on the internet is hard, doing it on the UG, is damn near suicide.

I actually read this earlier. I wouldn't disagree with cutting him but I still think what Daley did for example is far worse as a sportsman, I also think Daley has come around and learned. I think Paul can to.
I agree on punishment but just not this mate

I don't think it was necessary to cut him, and I said so right afterwards when others were calling for it. A fine was definitely in order and I thought it appropriate he wouldn't get the SoTN bonus because that sends a very strong message. Cutting him seems to show that the UFC (or maybe FOX?) do not think he will learn. He's been punished before.. but money talks, and that's a lot of money he lost.
Or he sufficiently embarassed one of the Zuffa clan enough that they just axed him. Dana has been known for that.

We may not agree on a lot of points and some fighters, but I highly respect you for having a intelligent approach to MMA. I appreciate you backing me up.

He definitely deserved a punnishment of sorts even being cut. I think banning is premature. We are assuming he couldn't learn. He has never been punished though etc. I think he will learn. or would. Now IDK maybe he goes to bellator and just destorys everyone taking their knee's home. Someone thought it was too brutal, whichever. A bad situation for everyone.
it just occurred to me that maybe the reason he tries to take peoples legs home with him is maybe b/c he's jealous b/c he's so short. Tree stump just wants to be a tree
