Okay guys, the date is drawing near and Igor and I both want to
thank you for all of the emails regarding his upcoming Seminar in
Austin, Texas. Our Texas Affiliate School in Austin, Rudy Vasquez
Academy, will be hosting Igor's Seminar. If any of you guys are in
the area and are looking for a seminar that is definitely going to
change your game, then this one with Igor is the one to do it.
Igor is a Black Belt from Carlinhos Gracie of Gracie Barra, Brazil.
Igor is bringing to Texas the latest in Jiu Jitsu technique coming
straight out of Rio! I can attest to the fact that he has shown me
stuff that I have never seen and it is amazing! Igor is thrilled to be
going down to Texas, my old home state.
He will be available for a limited amount of privates as well. If you
are interested in setting one of those up, talk with Rudy at his
academy. Remember, the Seminar is on February 7th and is open
to everyone! So come on over to Rudy's Academy and have a great

Yes it is! Igor is geared up and ready to go! How is the weather
there? We are about to have a serious blizzard here. 10-15 inches
of snow are coming!

Upper 20's at night - 50's during the day. A walk in the park considering what you guys are accustomed to this time of year, pack the board shorts and maybe a light jacket! :-)

It's about one week away now and Igor is ready to go! It's going to
be a great time for you guys whilst he is there. You will not only
see some great technique being taught, but also some great
training. Igor's looking forward to both the seminar/training and
working with Rudy on some stand up. You guys are so lucky to
have such and awesome stand up coach!

Can't wait Lynn! Been getting over a sinus infection and then the flu so this upcoming week of training I'm really looking forward to! You're right about Rudy, can't wait to see what he's able to turn me into, even though I can only give him so much to work with! LOL. :-)
bjjchic, you mentioned signing me up. Do I have to send Rudy a check to reserve my place, or just bring my $$ then? Also, we should talk about what else we want to do that weekend, so I know if you want me to bring any tapes or DVDs.

Hey guys.
It's getting closer! Right now Igor is in training for the Seminar. He
along with a huge Gracie Clan are on the mountains in Vermont
this weekend snowboarding. That's one group that I wouldn't want
to cut off on the mountain if you know what I mean. Have a great
weekend and get ready for next week and weekend. I believe he is
arriving on Wednesday now. Check with Rudy but he should be
around for some solid training and preparing you guys for what
promises to be a fantastic seminar. Ask him about some of his
amazing half guard work. It will change your game by light years!

wut is igor's specialty? like gordo has the half guard and nino has the guard.... is there anything he likes to do especially? cuz ive been thinkin bout comin up to renzo's while he is there to work out.

Igor has a very complete game. His knowledge is pretty amazing. I
have to say his half-guard work as well as guard work is pretty damn
impressive. He is a solid black belt with a very well rounded game that
encompasses the latest techniques straight out of Gracie Barra, his
home Academy.
