Do you guys see the pattern? In MMA, the noses are being broken crooked to the left. In none of these pics is the nose broken to the right! Very strange!
I wonder if thats actually a thing, where a nose can only break to the left
Or is it because its always a right knee pushing the nose into that direction
The hard bone of the knee is very dangerous, when hitting a small boney part of the face.
MMA is far more dangerous than boxing when it comes to bone-breaks and cuts
MMA is more damaging outwardly
Boxing is more damaging enternally
I.e because boxers know how to actually punch and cause far more internal damage with punches to the body and head+standing 8 counts and boxers continuing to fight after suffering huge knockdowns, where as in MMA a big knockdown usually means a ground and pound stoppage and no more fighting
Its similair to the Bare Knuckle vs MMA arguments. Bare Knuckle causes more cuts and bone-breaks, but MMA (gloves) is actually far more dangerous than Bare Knuckle, because:
MMA gloves keep your hands safe to punch as hard as you can every round
The gloves add more surface area of blunt force trauma
Its kind of ironic how the same arguments MMA fans use against boxing, can be applied to MMA and used by Bare Knuckle against MMA “but the other is actually more dangerous because of…”
