My name is Matt Mallard, I am currently a student at the University of Florida studying Applied Physiology and Kinesiology with a specialization in Exercise Physiology. I am looking for an internship to complete my degree in the Spring of 2009. I was wondering if any MMA schools in Florida would be up to taking an intern in something like Strength and Conditioning, or something similar. I would like to work with Mixed Martial Artists and Submission Grapplers because I myself enjoy participating in and watching both sports. I don't know if he offers intenships, but I would suggest talkign with JC Santana down in Boca. Hands down the best when it come to strength and conditioning. At the least, he can give you some good advice on where to go next in your career.
