I can kinda see the comparison. I don’t think Brunson will ever quite reach the ceiling that Jacare was at during certain points of his career.
The two of them also fought and Jacare kicked his ass badly.

I don’t see Brunson doing much more than he already has really. I think Jacare had a higher peak plus the amazing BJJ career.

I think Brunson wins tomorrow. I belive he’s just on a higher level and obviously more athletic. He’s more of a gatekeeper and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that.
It’s Till I wonder about. I think he prematurely got pushed towards the top at welter and I don’t see him as elite.
He should be fighting guys closer to the number 10 ranking or below as he evolves, improves, and matures.
I am pumped for this fight though. I feel it’s gonna be a banger.
