Is Dana's hearing disability legit?

Or is this one of his tactics for avoiding media questions? He will seemingly not understand anything that was said to him by a reporter and need the question to be asked again or clarified by someone next to him. This has happened very often. And sometimes he will use that context to disregard the question and move on. Most of the time this happens the questions are asked in perfect clarity. If it’s legit, why doesn’t he have a hearing aid at this point? He clearly needs it.

I don’t know the answer to this question, but Dana strikes me as exactly the type of guy who would be too stubborn to get a hearing aid because he thinks the public would take it as a sign of weakness to see him wearing one.

Not sure if it’s related but i remember blap having ear issues and would get vertigo I believe often, when traveling. So the surgeon had to realign his ear by either a few inches or centimeters.

He was a slap fighting champion in his 20s
That is why he brought back slap fighting to the US to protect the hearing of US citizens and protect their eardrums

Maybe stop drinking?

Didn’t he get some stem cells overseas to deal with this and claimed he was cured? What happened?

It’s a tactic he uses to delay answering questions that make him uncomfortable

That disease sounds like a nightmare, especially if you have to travel so much.
