I was at some fights in podunk wisconsin a couple years ago and all those guys were there. Hughes, Pulver, Franklin, Horn.. Anyway I think it was when horn was getting ready to fight chuck and they were talking about training. Well i had a fight coming up also and bucked up and approached matt about maybe training with them.. He didnt know a time but got my room number and said he would let me know.. I thought it was a blow off but the guy did call so.. Good guy in my book.. I also sat at the same poker table as him a couple times and he seemed fine. Maybe a little quiet and serious but def not a "jerk"..
