Is it just me, or does UFC 148 Have....

Some bad marketing? They say this is the biggest fight in the history of the sport and I for one think that it is as well, but why do I get the feeling that if this was Pacman vs PBFloyd we would be seeing ad hearing about it all over?

I feel I was a casual fan I wouldn't know about this fight. They are doing everything the same. The biggest thing they have is the prime time coming out which they do for most fights.

We need propagnada everywhere! Shit I want to see commercial's on oprahs network lol

Why isn't this happening?? Phone Post

They are showing commercials where I live left & right.

It's pretty standard over here in the UK. i.e unless you're interested already you'd never even know about it. It's tragic really.

I would've expected massive hype over in the states. Guess not. Phone Post

Nothing here in Australia cept for the main event order channel which is standard too. But it's still a week out?? Phone Post

Because the "over 45 year olds" control the mainstream media and they dont get nor give a fuck about UFC... wait 10 to 20 years... A fight like this will be all over the place.

the "Chaal" of 2025 will be jumping on oprahs couch...

the "chael" of 2025 will be all over the news with his sex tape...

the "chael" of 2025 will be fucking a kardashian...

This. The only adverts you see for UFC is if you watch espn and even then there's not many Phone Post

If the add you guys have for espn is ran the same as the add we have on espn then it doesn't get showed much well atleast for us. I've seen most the adds come on fox and fx.

I don't have fuel, I'm sure they show it there a lot, but who the fudge has fuel, nobody really.

I think UFC is wasting a good opportunity. White says he thinks UFC 100 numbers of over 1,000,000 PPV's, then they need to get on the ball. It should be 2 months of anticipation build-up; not 6-8 days. Phone Post

The U.S. doesn't care about the fight game as much as the rest of the world, I think they are starting to focus their efforts elsewhere

I'm on here everyday and still don't feel much hype for it. I think that million PPV buys is extremely optimistic.

This. I've seen commercials only during UFC broadcasts. Shouldn't the prime time show have been on already? Usually 3 episodes, one a week until the event? Phone Post

The comments from Anderson on the conference call made ESPN and a few other "main stream" media outlets.

still not enough, i rezlly cant believe it. This is honestly going to be an incredible show and im going to predict 750,000 buys maybe.

and it SHOULD be UFC 100 numbers like White says but he's going to wake up the next day and wonder what the hell happened, then hell see this thread and be like wtf.....maybe
