Is Stephan Bonnar officially retired? I assume he's in Dana's bad books post steroid debacle but has there been an official announcement? I'd hate for the guy to go out on a note like this after all the wars he's been involved in. My friends say I'm nuts but I still think a move up to heavyweight could be beneficial. Can you say American Dragon vs. Big Lavar Johnson?
American Dragon?
Is this a troll?
War dragon
lol wow
Lahzerous -
Lol
Lol at the pic. You guys honestly don't feel like he could handle himself at heavyweight, though? I'm not saying he could be champion but I think he would do all right. Am I the only guy still on the American Dragon war-wagon?

depends whether he's allowed to breathe fire on his opponents or not
I am off my face on coke and you sir are an idiot
Jesus Christ I suddenly understand why experienced posters lose interest in this board. I've been watching this sport since UFC 34 (was in attendance at 36).
Maybe you newbs have heard of Lyoto Machida aka The Dragon? Bonnar fought him in Jungle Fights pre TUF (sure most of the people complaining haven't even heard of it). Bonnar fought like a warrior eventually losing by cut. In Japanese culture when blood is spilled in a valiant effort it's traditional to adopt the nickname of your opponent for your next battles. As such Bonnar adopted "The Dragon" as his nickname and maintained it up until TUF at which point he switched to his more "exciting" Psycho nickname.
Before shitting on a poster maybe you youngbloods can do some research first next time.
I think OP is desperately trolling to hide his original mistake

Please show me an article, fight video, anything, where Bonnar refers to himself as "The Dragon" or anyone else refers to him as "The Dragon". Just one.

Or some reference to a Japanese cultural tradition whereby the loser of a bloody battle takes the name of his vanquisher.
The American Dragon is THE world tag team champion in the much tougher sport of Professional wrestling and has no plans on retiring any time soon.
On my computer right now or I would. Look up "Marc Maron podcast with David Wain" that's where I first heard about it
