You'll notice that his game looks completely different and it's amazing to see the transformation if this is really him.

In his book, he did mention that the triangle used to be his move.

Marcelo used to (and still does) have a killer triangle. I think he stopped using it as much when he fought much larger guys in the absolute divisions.
However, I have still seen him tap really good and big guys with it.
I dont think he's competed in BJJ at any weight class any higher than middleweight.
Amazing how far his game has progressed.

I remember reading something about that, I'll have to check it out! And yes Marcelo has a killer triangle even though you dont see him use it frequently! Come to think of it, everything he uses is killer!!! :-)
See, you don't need long legs to have a killer triangle.
