Israel Adesanya agrees to 'most lucrative multi-fight deal in UFC history'

Lol.

I kinda have a feeling that it’s “possible” to be the most lucrative if Izzy meets certain expectations, but I kinda feel like they did it to kinda take a dig at Francis as well

That breast feeding story caught me off guard lol

He’s one of the few unique and entertaining fighters. He had one shit fight and that was Romero, after he got clipped he spammed leg kicks from a distance. Other than that he’s been highly entertaining and unique.

He’s this generations Anderson Silva.

I think the best base pay I’ve seen so far has been Overeem’s when he first entered the UFC…I think he got $800,000 per fight with no win bonus…It’ll be interesting to see Izzy’s contract…

He admitted he sometimes gets bored in fights. He has to be dialed into the showman Izzy. Same thing that Anderson said.

Does anyone else find it weird Izzy gets his nails done like a chick?

Probably not nearly as weird you think it is.

Izzy’s good, but that’s an insult to the Spyder

I used to think that too. Not as much anymore.

Then again the fighters of yester-year were better.

Prime Fedor may very well beat anyone ever at heavyweight.

Young Jon Jones beats everyone at 205.

DC if he would trim to 185 would be the 185 goat. Instead its Anderson.

GSP is still the 170 GOAT

Khabib has the weakest resume of anyone called GOAT ever

Who else if not Izy? He is by far the most exciting fighter in ufc right now

It’s more that he needs guys to come at him like Anderson. Anderson wasn’t that good she he needed to lead.

Anderson would endorse that comparison. It’s not like others have not already. In some ways he’s better but also because he is a more modern fighter. He has a ways to go to catch Anderson’s resume tho of course.

None of the current champs are draws and haven’t been for the past few years.

Yeah he does like to watch and get as much data as possible before he starts throwing his own shots. But I do wish he would be more aggressive sometimes. He was definitely the aggressor tonight, but the finish didn’t present itself.

Izzy is a draw.

Barely.

Only because people want to see him lose.

…I’m assuming you interviewed all of the PPV buyers? Does it really matter why he is a draw?

You said nobody is a draw, I said Izzy is. You say “barely”. Which, by the way, means he is still a draw. We are all walking around “barely” alive because if we are decapitated or shot in the heart then we die, but guess what? We are still alive.

This. He’s had some tough fights. Tonight was underwhelming but he is a superstar. A massive draw especially here in Australia and NZ

I paid to watch him today

Yeah.

I knew tonight would be a chess match but it was definitely way better than the Vettori fight. That shit was boring outside of a few moments.

Izzy was more aggressive tonight and that’s what I want to see more of.
