So much for the African trifecta holding out for all the fighters.

Sooooo heā€™s finally going to come out of the closet and Endevor will use him as their LGBTQ poster boy?
Kudos to him.

Well, at least NOW (wink) we know who the UFC prefers the champion to beā€¦

Why is it that all we hear out of most of the non-caucasian who reside elsewhere than south america champions is related to money and getting paid more? Miocic, blakovicz, whittaker, oliveira, volkanovski, yan, Moreno, figueredo (before cejudo) vs current champions including but not limited to Ngannu, Adesanya, Usman, Sterling. Just an observation. Also, which of the last four names is actually worth the money theyā€™re asking for with the exception of maybe Adesanya?

Steroids are expensive. Now he can even out dā€™em tiddies

Explains why they havenā€™t marketed his fight this weekend. They didnā€™t want to load his gun for negotiations.

basically yes

Who?

Dana white being a fucking hoe.

OP says ā€œthe most lucrative in historyā€ in title and the link says ā€œone of the most lucrativeā€.

So he did NOT sign the most lucrative contract in history.

Is it warranted?

Does he have the draw?

Iā€™m not a big fan of any of the current champs.

Really want to see these numbers, there is likely a lot of financial incentives in the contract based on performance and draw, his base pay wonā€™t be as much as lucrative as they make it sound Iā€™m sure.

That said I am suprised because while I do like him as a fighter I just donā€™t see the drawing power, especially in one of the weakest divisions, there are no stars there anymore unless khamzat comes up

Perfect timing for Izzy. The ink on the recent headlines about fighter pay hasnā€™t even dried yet, fantastic opportunity for the UFC to counter that by giving Izzy everything he is asking for and more provided they let the world know that. Probably in the contract even. Not exactly a loss for the UFC as they are indeed getting top tier talent. Without the current fighter pay sentiment, Danaā€™s grubby little hands would not be so quick to loosen the purse strings. Thatā€™s for sure.
