That's what we hear, anyway: "A source tells Cage Potato that Keith Jardine will be the next opponent for Brandon Vera following his decision win over Reese Andy this past Saturday. The match seems to indicate that Vera’s stay in the light heavyweight division may be longer than he might have liked. Jardine needs a victory after his TKO loss to Wanderlei Silva at UFC 84, and going against the once-highly touted heavyweight prospect Vera gives him a golden opportunity to get back in the running for the UFC’s light heavyweight title. There’s no word yet on exactly when the fight will take place, but we’ll bring you more as the story develops."
Who ya got?
Source?
Gotta keep source anonymous right now...
I'll take Jardine in this one if Vera decides once again to just cut weight instead of actually getting in shape.

I don't understand this part. I thought Vera was on record as saying he was staying at 205. Didn't he mention in the post fight interview on Saturday that he would approach the cut much differently for his next fight?
WAR TECHNO VIKING!
Jardine wins this EASILY if Vera fights like he did with Andy Reese
With not much rest between. Acc'd to MMAJunkie it is happening at UFC 89 in England
Jardine announced it this morning on the radio.
Thanks for the report, Cage Potato.
bad match for sardine
Should be a good fight
Vera delivers this time. Regardless of his performance last time he looked like a monstrous LHW on Sat. He puts Jardine to sleep in the first. He'll be much better prepared.
I'm thinking Jardine takes this one...Vera hasn't be showing us much as of late, but hopefully it's an exciting fight either way. Please no more clinch wars.
Ensanity - Jardine wins this EASILY if Vera fights like he did with Andy Reese
Reese Andy, IMO.
Andy, Reese (imo)
I got Vera in this one.
I hope Vera diets down to 205 - 210 and cuts very little weight....He can't afford another snooze fest because he gassed from cutting weight.....It's frustrating watching a great fighter like Vera put on a lackluster performance solely because he's tired.
Good matchup. Could be a legkick clinic from both of those guys.
both of these guys need a W in a bad way. If Jardine wins, will Vera cut to 185?
