It would be tough for Jason to make 145.
I cornered Jason on saturday so I feel I can talk about a few things here.
Making 145. Jason has tried and come close. But he is now older and making 145 would be even more difficult. It would take a serious payday and advance notice for him to do it. He make look tubby but that dude has cardio for days. Has taken 5 round title fights and finished harris sarrmiento on short notice in that title fight in round 5. He is just gifted in the cardio department.
Injuries before this fight. When he came home from tough he had to have surgery on his hand which sidelined him and he also had a few other moderate to abd injuries. Obviosly surgery 2 months before a huge fight is going to be a large issue for weight training and cardio.
Jason went out there and started slow but in the end got the W with a slick anaconda.
My UG guarantee is Jason comes in much better shape in his next UFC fight after he takes some time off to recover and get his life in order.
