Javier says Khabib's training is better than ever.

Since he is my most requested guest, and everyone is asking, Javier gives an update on Khabib at 15:45 of the video and talks about how much better he is looking this time than ever before. Also, talks about the game changing advice he got from Luke.

For those asking, I should have Khabib on the show before the end of the month. So let me know what you guys wanna know.

A man of the people, ask him if he ever considers a move to ww given his problems making weight as of late. Not very original I know but it seems to be working out for a couple guys.

I think he has it under control now, but can certainly see if he would ever make the step up.

Question for you Mike, being a guy who fought at two weight classes, how do you think khabibs frame would do at 170?

I personally think he is best suited for his weight now, so long as he can make it in a healthy way.

Hey Mike, Javier mentioned that Khabib got advice from Luke that helped him to improve. Do you know what that advice was?

I believe it was just some grappling strategy using his body type. Luke is so much better on the ground than people think.

Thanks. I was amazed at how dominant Luke was on the ground in the Weidman fight.

I honestly thought Weidman would be champ for a really long time because he was just so damn good everywhere....

I’m a California guy who’s spent most of my life in San Jose and Santa Cruz/Santa Cruz mountains, and call me crazy but I’ve always felt that Luke’s insane ground game and balance has a lot to do with his surfing background

what an athlete eh

Could you ask if he would ever consider fighting during fasting? I think someone mentioned before that Belal Muhammad trained over night to avoid downtime. Thanks!

Good input guys, keep it coming!

Make fun, but look at his ground exchanges with weidman and botsch, his always keeps his upper body balanced and centered. Kind of like riding a board on an unstable surface.

Good points. It would be interesting to hear if Luke does feel that there are aspects from both activities that cross over
