The UFC started before Pride but when Pride came around it was definitely the better product. The UFC was hosting grappler vs grappler slap fests with super tight shorts and Pride had Sakuraba shitting on the UFCs golden family, the Gracies.
The UFC didn't even steal Prides idea of beating down Royce until years later.
They should set it up as a bar fight in a Russian, vodka bar. That'd be sweet.
