Just because it didn't have huge names doesn't mean the fights wouldn't be good. They knew jones could still sell it. It would have gotten good fighters that have great fights some publicity. The matchups looked awesome. Sucks they put all there chips into one fight to sell the ppv, but hopefully it will humble the UFC and force them to stack the cards more often.
this is one of the few professional sports where many of the guys fighting are part of the "community".
