I'd imagine that standing in front of them and using himself as an example of what not to do is extremely humbling.
Whatever us jaded adults say, those kids will be fans of his forever.
Hope this lights a fire under him...especially as a father.
He's in a position to really make an impact and help not only kids in his community but himself also.
I'm not a fan of his and I think it's shit how lightly he got off, but it would be great if this does do some good and he can sort himself out in the process

Do you truly believe that given his personality and track record. Don't get me wrong. Jon IS a true warrior and I love seeing him fight. He does have the potential to be the GOAT.
But his personal life and all of its' intricacies greatly inhibits him.
Do you think he can overcome his own personality traits and his personal tendencies?
I hope so.
But so far, he hasn't shown a true well rounded character necessary to do so.
I don't think this will change him per se, but I do think that most people, even douches, aren't complete monsters. He'll be sick of this, but I could see it humbling him a bit and him actually enjoying spending time with some kids who probably idolize him.
I know he didn't really have to learn his lesson with the complete lack of punishment, but he must know how easily he got off. Not to mention Jones has grown in general over the years. Freshman year I was one of the worst kids on my high school wrestling team (5-35), and by my senior year was named the New York State High School Wrestling Champion with a 39-0 record. At that point in my life it was my greatest achievement. I reminded these boys that if they believe in themselves and put in the work, there is nothing they can't achieve.
