I don’t blame Jon for not wanting to fight Tom but it’s pretty gay the UFC is letting him hold up the division for 2 years after winning a vacant title because he “deserves” a legacy fight with Stipe for the title.
But when GSP and Khabib wanted to fight each other for legacy in 2020 Dana said no because it would hold up the LW division. Why didn’t those 2 “deserve” that legacy fight?

Based upon his UFC HW resume and beating Sergei who was red fucking hot
Francis left a vacancy and to say beating Gane(off a loss) outweighs those two^^^ monsters HW runs would be a disservice to MMA as a whole.
