And fighting a Stipe thats coming off a 2 year layoff and a brutal KO makes it a more legitimate win than the current #1 guy. Arlovski, Spivac, Volkov, Tybura, and Pavlovich are all legitimate fighters. Before Tom finished him, ppl were hyping Pav as the next big thing at heavyweight.

None of that matters though because the fact is that the champion is meant to fight the top guys and defend the title, thus proving his greatness against the best.

Tom fought his way up to an interim, which literally makes him the top contender; that is the purpose of it, to guarantee the title shot to the victor.

So, Tom is only telling Jon to do what a champion does and that is defend the title against the top ranked competition.

Instead Jon would rather fight Stipe, who hasnt fought in 2 years and got KOd in his last outing.

So he technically shouldnt be fighting for a title…the only reason he is doing so is because it benefits Jon and the UFC by propelling Jon’s clout against another legend past his prime.

Its honestly kind of a joke if most fans werent mouth breathing morons that fall for this everytime because they love that Dana White cherry-flavored kool-aid.

And those are the real facts of this whole situation, not this delusional entitlement bullshit Jon is pulling once again.
