I have this as a tattoo - ??????????- which means 'If you know both yourself and your enemy, you can win a hundred battles without a single loss'
So I would beat Brock 100 times if I know him and I know myself?
A few things here:
(a) LOL at ragging on one of the greatest philosophers in history and on one of the key philosophies in history's defining book on military strategy that has influenced many leaders and armies to victory - including the little Vietcong to humiliating the mighty USA - throughout history
(b) You completely miss the fucking point
(c) Yes, if you truly know yourself and you truly know Lesnar, you will beat him 100 times in battle without loss. Note that in battle does not necessarily mean in an MMA bout you retard.
Anything can happen in the cage but if I was a betting man i'd bet Jones in this one. Jones will finish Bader. Ryans fight with Lil Nog didn't impress me what so ever! It does look like Bader gasses at the end of fights. Not the real mark of a champion imo but he can fix that.....
Jones wins by outclassing Bader in every aspect of the game. I like Bader but he not close to an athlete of Jones caliber and looked lost in his fight against Rogerio who is on his way out.
orcus - Hasn't Jones gassed when he's had to fight more than a couple minutes?
Good memory, he gassed big time against Bonnar last in the 2nd and the 3rd round. Rewatch the fight and believe it or not Bonnar had him against the cage, but couldn't capitalize on the potential finish.
LOL @ potential finish. Jones was never in trouble that fight. He gassed to the point that he was only able to ragdoll bonnar down 3-4 times in the 3rd round as opposed to the 5+ times he was doing it in the 1st and 2nd. Plus that fight was on the 2009 super bowl weekend card, almost 2 full years removed and he wasn't with jackson back then either. I'm guessing he's improved a few things including conditioning within that time frame.
Not to be rude but I specifically used the word "potential" in that Bonnar could have potenitally finished Jones off had he (Bonnar) capitalized on Jones being completely exhausted in the latter part of the 2nd and 3 rounds. If Bonnar had more "gas in the tank" he certainly could have put Jones away.
Also I don't disagree that Jones has improved a great deal, but that wasn't the topic I was addressing so I'm uncertain as to why you brought it up.
