after watching F16 world MAX, I've watch this WEC prelim fight between 2 standup fighters in Horodecki and Ratcliff,, I don't know if it's the big discrepancy in standup techniques or what but halfway through the 2nd round, I fell asleep..

I love K-1 but if I was given a steady diet of it, 2x a month, I'd lose interest. It's great (for me) in small doses. MMA is so versatile, with so many players, that I really never seem to get bored of it.

As amazing as that fight was...the whole time I just wanted to punch Voice and Kogan in the face, for how ridiculously much they were hanging off Zambidis balls. You can have an opinion, and you can have favorite fighters...but they ignored EVERYTHING that Chahid did offensively and defensively until his knockdown at the end of 2nd

I missed the days when Buakaw just went on a rampage. Nowdays he fights nothing like he used to and out of the contending for the title.

K1 has its bad moments too, thank god for the GP's though.

 The one big problem with kickboxing is that the big events are so scarce, so getting your hands on anything other than those events is next to impossible unless you are really big into the sport. Trust me, if you had access to weekly kickboxing events like you do nowadays for MMA, you would find out fast that it isn't ALWAYS as exciting as these past two events have been. Your getting one or two UFC events a month, a WEC every month or two, weekly Bellator it seems, Strikeforce every few months, same with Dream. Not to mention all the stuff you get on HDNet every week. The ONLY time anybody is posting about kickboxing on here is when these two tournaments roll around...or if Badr Hari goes apeshit on another opponent.
