It's all I could think about when he said he was semi-retired. It's funny how he said that if he was offered the Weidman fight he "might" consider it and even then he's not sure. One minute he wants big fights and the next he's not sure if he would take the Weidman fight.

He's not important enough, famous enough, good enough, loved enough, or notorious enough, etc etc of a fighter for his retirement to mean anything. No one cares. No one is coming begging for him to return or care enough about his MMA career to give him a big opportunity. Period.

I don't mean to "shit" on Tim Kennedy. I really hope it doesn't come across that way. "Shitting" on Tim Kennedy would be if I was saying ill things of him or putting him in a bad light. In fact, I hope my comments were exactly the opposite of that. I was simply listing objective facts about Kennedy's place as a fighter. Since this is a UG, discussing Tim's fighting acumen should be fair game especially when no name calling etc. was involved. Mr. Kennedy is making a statement that would make more sense coming from a higher ranked, higher draw, etc. fighter. Not a middle of the road, unremarkable, non-draw that he happens to be. All facts. No "shitting".
