Why was Jorge sitting on the cage smiling and sticking his tongue out, rather then trying to get off the cage? Usman is there to win a fight, not for us, but for him and his family. He implemented his game plan, not his fault Jorge couldn’t defend it. Anytime Usman tried to engage in a clinch, he would come in head down. Jorge could of thrown an uppercut/hook combo and pivot off of that and reset in the center of the octagon. He used zero foot work and angles.

It was a win and what he will probably continue to do until his chain wrestling and pressure is cancelled out by someone (ie Colby or whoever else). Get used to it. " fights" boring or exciting. Boring as fuck to watch but he got the dub.

I don’t mind dominant grapplers but I can’t stand watching fights like this and the recent Blaydes fight where they really aren’t trying to hurt or stop their opponent just wear on them.
People always say “well it’s up to Masvidal to escape” and of course it is, still doesn’t mean it’s fighting it’s just effective out working someone
Usman complains that he doesn’t have much fan support, then he gets gift wrapped the most exciting name in the sport right now without a training camp, what better opportunity could you ever have to get exposure/fans and what does he do? Wrestle fucks him against the cage and stamp on his toes for 25 minutes.

Kamaru has a great foundation, but has a lot of room for improvement. What I saw is a man that really needs to start working his bjj. Just get good at 2-3 submissions. A Darce choke, RNC and Kimura. Then he will be able to threaten finishes when he gets his takedown. He is boring now, but I think he can get better. Hes still young.
