Some reports around Japan indicate that Kondo's main event opponent on the 3/29/04 Pancrase "Brave" card may be Ebeneezer Fontes Braga.
Braga's last Pancrase bout was against Masa Funaki, which ended in a time limit draw. Braga got the better of Funaki throughout that match, and if a decision were rendered, he would have deserved the nod.
Braga, from Brazil, is a Lute Livre fighter with excellent stand up, and solid ground experience.

It'd be a really good fight, but I don't think Braga is a good "warm up" match for anybody. He's got some serious skill.

This is a good fight but i just hope it doesn't screw up the Kondo-Silva fight.
This is a risky fight for Kondo i think, Braga is a bad choice for a smaller striker like Kondo to fight. Braga's striking has improved greatly due to his brief stint in K1, i dunno if he can knock out Kondo but i can see him controlling a stand up fight.

Pancrase rules are almost identical to Pride, and have been that way for 3 years now.
Several sites are now stating that Braga is out. He is fighting on a card like two weeks later in Brazil.
